WAKEFIELD, Mass. - After tallying four points to help the Boston University women's ice hockey team to a pair of wins, freshman forward Jenelle Kohanchuk was named the Women's Hockey East Mission Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season, as announced by the conference office on Monday. Kohanchuk scored a goal and added three assists in the Terriers' weekend sweep of Northeastern.

Kohanchuk scored a goal and assisted on senior Gina Kearns' game-winner in Saturday's 3-0 shutout of the Huskies at Matthews Arena. In the regular-season finale the next day, she notched a pair of assists in the first period, including a setup of Kearns' shorthanded game-winner en route to an 8-1 win.

The Winnipeg, Man., native has scored multiple points in each of the last four games and is tied for the team lead in scoring with 28 points (13g, 15a). Kohanchuk leads Hockey East rookies with 1.08 points per game and is the only athlete in the conference to earn top rookie honors four times this season. She was previously honored on Oct. 6, Nov. 24 and Dec. 8.

The Terriers host their first-ever postseason game on Saturday (Feb. 28) at 3 p.m., facing Northeastern again in the first round of the Women's Hockey East tournament at Walter Brown Arena.
