Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

AS A JUNIOR IN 2007-08
Played in 33 of the team's 35 games, primarily as a center, earning 12 points on the strength of seven goals ... Notched two game-winning goals on the season, lifting the Terriers over Maine with an empty-netter on Jan. 27 and on top of Vermont on Feb. 8 ... Tallied one of the team's two short-handed goals, scoring while on the penalty kill against Sacred Heart on Dec. 8 ... Earned three points against Sacred Heart, including two goals ... Ended the season with a +8 rating, the second highest on the team ... Scored on 13.5 percent of her shots, the highest shooting percentage on the team.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07
Played in 33-of-34 games, missing only the Nov. 26 matchup against Union ... Recorded eight points during the season (3-5), including one power-play goal ... Scored the first goal of the season on Oct. 6 against Robert Morris ... Notched a career-high four points (1-3) against Sacred Heart on Dec. 9 ... Was the sole Terrier to record four points in a game during the season.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06
Played in all 33 games, tallying eight points (4-4) ... Scored first goal in program history against Northeastern on Oct. 7 ... Tied for fourth on the team in power-play goals (2) ... Had a season-high three points (2-1) against Dartmouth on Oct. 29 ... Named to the Hockey East All-Academic team ... Voted recipient of the Spirit Award by her teammates.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Played four years at Choate Rosemary Hall, lettering each year, and was captain in each of her last two seasons ... Scored 28 points as a senior and led the team with 24 assists ... Squad advanced to NE Prep School league finals ... Awarded Choate Hockey Heart and Dedication Award as well as Ice Hockey Coaches' Award ... As a junior, recorded 24 points (10-14) and made it to the national championship quarterfinals with club team Connecticut Polar Bears ... Led Choate in scoring as a sophomore (10-12-22) ... As a freshman, tallied 22 points for Choate and also took home the bronze medal at the national championships in Anchorage, Alaska, with the Connecticut Polar Bears ... Earned a varsity letters in soccer (two years) and lacrosse (three years) ... Named to dean's list and honored with David T. Layman Prize for earnest and persistent effort.
