First Round Results

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Boston University women's golf team sits in third place after 18 holes at the Hartford Invitational Tournament at Rockledge Golf in West Hartford, Conn.

The Terriers combined to shoot a 318 on the par 72 course after the first 18 holes, which marks the lowest team total for one round in BU women's golf history.

Freshman Kristyna Pavlickova leads all golfers after shooting an even 72 in the first round. She is atop the leader board by one stroke.

Three Terriers are in a tie for 17th after the first 18, as Courtney Dampolo, Jill Eelman and Christina Patracuolla all totaled an 82 on day one. Rookie Flor Canedo rounds out the field for BU in a tie for 25th with a score of 84.

Entered as individuals, Christine Silen shot an 84 while Veronica Rodriguez totaled a 97.

The Terriers totaled eight Birdies for their Spring Birdie tally.

BU concludes play at the Hartford Invitational on Tuesday, April 17, with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
