The Terriers improve to 12-6 on the season while the Bulldogs move to 5-11.
Both goals came in the second half, as Allosso converted a penalty stroke in the 54th minute and Gaumond scored off an assist by sophomore Anne Fruitemawith 7:28 left in regulation.
BU ousthot Yale, 22-9, and held a 7-3 advantage in corners. The Terriers forced Yale goalkeeper Emily Cain to make 12 saves.
After a scoreless first half, BU opened the scoring thanks to a foul in the Yale circle. A Yale defender used her foot to prevent a goal and a penalty stroke was awarded.
Allosso took the try and she converted for her second goal in as many days. She tallied her first career goal in Saturday's 6-2 home win over Fairfield on Senior Day.
The Terriers doubled their lead in the 63rd minute. Fruitema controlled the ball on the right side and sent in an entry pass from outside the circle that was targeted for Gaumond, who got to the ball and redirected it past Cain for her third goal of the season.
Maroney earned her second career shutout, stopping four shots in the first half and three in the second to raise her nation-leading save percentage to .825.
Ineligible for the America East Championship due to next year's move to the Patriot League, BU has put itself in position to be considered for an at-large berth to the NCAA tournament. The Terriers will wait to see how the conference tournaments play out before the NCAA bracket is announced on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
