Sophomore Lee-Ann Persse sat in the six-seat of the women's rowing varsity eight boat during the entire spring season. In the first race against Syracuse, she helped BU become the first program in the Kittel Cup series to capture the trophy two times in a row.

During the Charles River Challenge, the Terriers defeated Gonzaga and Tennessee before finishing third in the annual Beanpot ahead of Columbia, Boston College and MIT. In the final event of the year at the Eastern Sprints, Persse helped BU reach the Petite Final.
