BOSTON - Boston University women's varsity crew finished second to Yale by the slimmest of margins, falling by less than one second at the Yale Class of 1985 Cup on the Charles River on Saturday, April 9.

The Elis finished with a time 6:32.94 with the Terriers close behind, posting a time of 6:33.79. Iowa and Dartmouth finished third and fourth respectively.

Yale won four of the day's five races. In the second varsity, the Elis outperformed the second-place Terriers by 12 seconds. In the third varsity, the Terriers finished third with a time of 7:59.1.

B.U. took the second novice race as the Terriers earned a time of 8:12.0 to Yale's 8:34.7.
