Salvation Army Thanks BU Student-Athletes

On behalf of The Salvation Army, I would like to thank Boston University for your tremendous support of our annual Thanksgiving Project.

Boston University's dedication has made it possible to provide the ingredients for a Thanksgiving meal to those in need in our community, including the most important ingredient -hope. The program was a wonderful success; we were able to distribute nearly 1,300 Thanksgiving baskets to families and individuals in need in the Greater Boston area.

The Salvation Army is extremely grateful for all the work you have done recruiting volunteers for the event. Without Boston University, we would not have been able to package and distribute over 46,000 pounds of food that was given to our clients on Saturday, November 19, 2011.

We are truly appreciative of your efforts. Please share our sincere gratitude with your volunteer group.

Thank you! Ashley Kouyoumjian Volunteer and Special Events Assistant
