BOSTON - After earning individual titles at the Harvard Invitational on Dec. 11, senior Andre Nacaxe (Goiania, Brazil) and freshman Tahari James (Branford, CT) received America East Track and Field Performer of the Week honors.

Nacaxe, who won the 800-meter run at the Harvard Invitational, was named the America East Men's Track Performer of the Week. Nacaxe raced to a first-place finish with a time of 1:55.12. He was less than two seconds off his personal-best time of 1:53.86, set at B.U.'s Five-Way Invitational on Feb. 7, 2004.

James, who won the long jump at the Harvard Invitational, was named the America East Women's Field Performer of the Week. James won the long jump title with a leap of 5.63m. She also placed third in the high jump with a height of 1.60m and was 13th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.98.

The Terrier men's team will return to action when it hosts the All Comers Meet on Saturday, Jan. 15. The women's team will host a Quad Meet on Tuesday, Dec. 18.
