PHILADELPHIA - The Boston University wrestling team fell to Drexel, 26-9, in a Colonial Athletic Association dual match on Friday eveing at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The Terriers fell to 3-4 overall and 3-3 in CAA duals, while the Dragons improved to 12-9, 7-2 CAA.

Drexel won the first three bouts to jump out to an 11-0 lead, but the Terriers responded with three straight wins of their own to cut their deficit to 11-9. However, the Dragons closed out with three more wins to cap their victory.

Junior Joey Whitaker earned a hard-fought 6-5 victory over Billy Martin in the 133-pound bout. Sophomores Carlo Ferrandino (141) and Mike Roberts (149) each improved to 7-0 in dual matches with victories.

BU will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 27, with a quad meet at Rutgers. The Terriers will take on Delaware State, NYU and the host Scarlet Knights.
