Qualified for NCAA Championships for second straight season... Posted an overall record of 28-11 to set a career high in wins... Went 11-4 in duals and 17-7 in tournaments... Advanced to the NCAA tournament, where he nearly upset Iowa State's Cyler Sanderson in the first round before falling, 3-1... Posted an 11-7 victory over Wyoming's Carter Dowling in the wrestlebacks before coming up just short in a 10-6 decision against Penn State's Dan Vailliamont... Defeated Rider's Mike Kessler, 5-3, in CAA title match... Opened the conference tournament with a 3-1 sudden victory win over Mark Cartella (Drexel) before posting a 6-5 win over Mark Parziale (Hofstra) in the semifinals... AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2005-06
Posted a 22-6 overall record to lead the Terriers in winning percentage (.786)... Was victorious in his first eight collegiate matches before dropping a 6-4 sudden-victory contest to Tom Kniezewski (American) in the Keystone Classic 149-pound title bout... Earned a pair of wins at prestigious Midlands Tournament... Reeled off 10 straight dual wins at 149 before falling 6-5 to Rider's Michael Kessler in regular-season finale...
