AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007-08
Went 2-7 at 133, including a 2-1 record in duals... Opened season with a fall (3:26) against Delaware State's Tad Broomall... Also posted 6-3 victory over Wagner's Nick Boghos... Competed at Keystone Classic, Nittany Lion Open and Southern Scuffle.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006-07
Posted a 5-7 record at 141, including a 1-1 dual mark... Opened his career by going 3-1 at the TCNJ Tournament, good for third place... Earned wins over Chris Prihoda (TCNJ), Caleb Levee (Navy) and Peter Ferrera (Virginia).
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Goddu graduated from New Bedford High School as the scholl's all-time leader in wins with 142... Captured NWCA national championship... As a senior, went undefeated in the regular season, won sectionals and finished third in state championships... As a junior, finished fourth in state and second in sectionals... As a sophomore, finished sixth in state and third in sectionals... Seventh-place finish in National High School Coach's Association Open Nationals and was named All-American for his performance.
