AS A JUNIOR IN 2007-08
Moved up two weight classes to 157 and posted a record of 15-13... Went 8-6 in duals and 7-7 in tournaments... Opened the season with a second-period fall against Brandon Bruce (Delaware St.)... Recorded three major decisions... Won four straight dual matches between Jan. 12-19... Went 3-2 at CAA Championships, posting three straight wins in the wrestlebacks against Tom Sullivan (Sacred Heart), Rob Morrison (Rider) and Frankie McLaughlin (George Mason) before falling to Binghamton's Nate Patterson in consolation finals... Placed second (66 kg) at the University Greco-Roman Challenge Tournament, falling just one win short of qualifying for the World Team Championship Series.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07
Enjoyed a breakout season, finishing second on the team in victories with a 26-10 record at 141... Recorded three falls, two technical falls and a team-high four major decisions... Won nine of his first 11 matches... Captured the title at the season-opening TCNJ Tournament, winning all three of his matches... Earned wins over four opponents at the Keystone Classic, including Rick Rappo (Penn), Brian Spangler (Penn) and Mark Savino (Brown)... Was 12-3 in dual action, including a 7-1 CAA mark... Won his first 10 dual matches...Went 2-2 at the CAA Championships, including a fall against Cory Dunn (Sacred Heart), to finish in fourth.

Posted an overall record of 13-5, including a 10-4 mark in tournaments... Won seven of his first nine collegiate matches, including a shared title at Roger Williams Invite.
