BOSTON - BU track and field prospects Joel Senick and Karly Neveu competed in the Canadian Junior National Championships in Abbottsford, British Columbia at the Valley Royals Track & Field Club over the weekend. Senick placed second in the 400m dash, while Neveu won the high jump.

Senick's time of 47.31 would have been the team's fastest time of the season this past year in the event. He advanced to the finals of the event after finishing second in the preliminaries with a time of 48.08.

Neveu's mark of 1.71, which would have been the program's best jump by almost five inches this past season, came on her fifth attempt.
