CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior R.J. Page of the Boston University men’s track & field team was named America East Track Performer of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Page (Swedesboro, N.J.) ran a conference-best time of 10.65 seconds to finish fourth in the 100m dash championship on Saturday at the Penn Relays. He continued his impressive weekend as part of the 4x400m relay team that broke its own school record with a time of 3:08.85. The quartet finished second in the IC4A finals, just 16 hundredths of a second behind the first-place squad.

The junior sprinter has had an outstanding outdoor season, as he owns the fastest time in the America East in both the 100m and 200m dashes. He is also part of the fastest 4x400m relay team in the conference.

BU will compete at the America East Championships on May 5 and 6 in Bangor, Maine. Page is the defending champion in both the 100m and 200m dashes; he was named Most Outstanding Track Performer at last year’s event.
