After finishing second in the mile run at the NCAA Championships, sophomore Rich Peters was named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Peters finished with a time of 4:01.78, which was just 12 seconds off the winning pace set by Chris O’Hare of Tulsa (4:01.66). The time was a facility record and it earned Peters First Team All-America status.

The Bristol, England, native became the first Terrier to reach the final of an indoor event since Matt Smith (3,000m) and Kevin Murphy (800m) competed in 1998.
