PRINCETON, N.J. - Sophomore Dan Withrow finished seventh in the discus throw, scoring for the Boston University men's track and field team on the first day of the IC4A Outdoor Championship on Friday at Weaver Stadium. Withrow posted a season-best mark of 50.87m, scoring two points to put the Terriers in a 17th-place tie after the first four events.

Junior Jan Bicanic also competed in the event, throwing a 47.73m to finish 13th.

After the first day, Liberty leads the field with 22 points, followed by Virginia with 19 points.

The IC4A Championship continues on Saturday and Sunday in Princeton.
