Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University menís basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University womenís basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last yearís 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University menís ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

During the outdoor season, competed in 100m dash (10.62), had a conference-best time in the 200m dash (21.07) and was part of 4x400m relay team that finished ninth (3:10.16) at the Florida Relays ... Secured second-best 100m dash time in America East (10.54), was part of 4x200m relay team that set school record (1:24.24) and also competed on 4x400m (3:15.85) and 4x100m (41.51) relay teams at Texas Relays ... Finished fourth in 200m dash (21.54) and also competed in 100m dash (10.97) at Shamrock Invitational ... During the indoor season, was part of 4x400m relay team that set school and New England record at IC4A Championships with second-place time of 3:08.41 ... Finished second in the 200m dash (21.32) at the New England Championships and was part of first-place 4x400m relay team (3:09.45) ... Had a sixth-place finish in the 200m dash (21.52) championship event and competed in the 60m dash (6.90) at the Collegiate Invitational ... Named America East Track Performer of the week on Jan. 29 ... Broke his own school record in the 200m dash with conference-best time of 21.25 seconds for a fourth-place finish at the Terrier Classic and also placed fourth in the 60m dash (6.91) ... Placed first in the 60m dash with a time of 6.95 seconds and was a member of the first-place 4x400m relay team (3:20.09) at the BU Multi-Team Meet on Jan. 17.

Won the E. Ray Speare Award as BU's top male scholar-athlete ... During the outdoor season, was named to the America East All-Academic Team ... Named Most Outstanding Track Performer at the America East Championships for the second straight year after breaking his own conference record in the 100m dash (10.52) and defending his 100m dash and 200m dash (21.21) titles ... Earned Coaches' Award at conference meet for second straight year after he collected more points than any other male competitor over the course of the two-day meet ... Advanced to the NCAA East Preliminaries in the 200m dash as well as a part of the 4x400m relay team ... Claimed first place in the 200m dash at the Larry Ellis Invitational (21.18) ... Set the conference pace in the 100m dash (10.68) and the 200m dash (20.98) at the Florida Relays ... Part of conference-best 4x400m relay team, which set the America East pace with a time of 3:08.91 at the Florida Relays ... During indoor season, named to America East All-Academic Team ...
