Men's Tennis Falls To Binghamton, 4-1, In Third Place Match

New Haven, Conn. - The Boston University men's tennis team fell, 4-1, to Binghamton in the third place match of the 2007 America East Tournament Saturday evening on the campus of Yale University.

The Bearcats swept the singles points, but BU took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. Senior Barrett Wolf (Boca Raton, Fla.) and junior Giulio Gallarotti (Higganum, Conn.) paired up for the win in the No. 1 spot. Junior Phil DeMeo (Bedford, Mass.) and freshman Jeff Chudacoff (Highland Park, Ill.) earned a victory at second doubles.

Sophomore Tim Sichler (Los Lunas, N.M.) was winning his sixth singles match against Reina Kohtake 6-3, 2-3 when the team score was decided.
