Men's Tennis Defeats Hawks To Claim Fifth Win In Last Six Matches
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Boston University men's tennis team won for the fifth time in six tries, taking out America East rival University of Hartford, 5-2, on Thursday, April 15. B.U. (7-8, 3-2 America East) took two of the doubles matches to earn its first point, then won four of the six singles matches to secure the win. Senior Geoff Wagner (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), senior Adam Siegel (Subbury, Mass.), freshman Ross Lohr (Newton, Mass.), and senior Topher Bertone-Ledford (Goshen, N.Y.) each earned singles wins. The No. 2 doubles team of Lohr and freshman Barrett Wolf (Boca Raton, Fla.) and the No. 3 duo of Bertone-Ledford and junior Nick Ganias (Worcester, Mass.) earned the doubles wins. The Terriers wrap up their regular season with a trip to Boston College on Wednesday, April 21. The team then competes at the America East Championship from Friday, April 30 through Sunday, May 2 in New Haven, Conn. SINGLES: #1 Geoff Wagner (BU) def.
