Men's Tennis Finishes Fourth at America East Championship

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Boston University men's tennis team concluded the 2008-09 season with a fourth-place showing at the America East Championship Saturday afternoon at the Yale Tennis Center. A day after sweeping Hartford, the Terriers fell to Stony Brook in the semifinals and then lost to UMBC in the consolation match. Three seniors - Miron Nissim, Tim Sichler and Charles Weinstein - played their final matches for the Terriers under first-year head coach Rick Edelmann. BU ends the year with a record of 4-17 that included two 7-0 wins against both Hartford and Holy Cross. The Terriers dropped four of the contests by one point.
