WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Earning its third win in the last four contests, the Boston University men's tennis team stormed past Hartford, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the UH Tennis Courts. Improving to 4-12, the Terriers swept through doubles and captured five of the six available singles points, as the Hawks dropped to 4-11.

Junior Josh Friedman and senior Michael Kopelman kicked things off with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. Friedman then earned a 6-2, 6-2 win over Marco Neves in the top singles spot, while Kopelman rallied from a set down for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over Josh Isaacson at No. 3.

Freshman Emilio Teran and junior Alex Hallenbeck also posted perfect records on the day. Teran teamed with sophomore Jesse Frieder for an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles and then knocked off Michael Kennelly, 7-5, 6-4, at No. 4 singles.

After earning an 8-4 doubles win with senior Alex Green, Hallenbeck put on an even more dominating performance at No. 6 singles, as he dropped just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Bogdan Nedelcu.

Senior Regis Chang added another point to BU's total with a 6-2, 6-1 win in the No. 5 slot against Alex Holdstein.

The Terriers will next play their final home game of the season on Wednesday (April 18) against Holy Cross with action slated to begin at 4 p.m.
