The Boston University men's tennis team visited Holy Cross for the second time this season and again earned a 7-0 sweep on Tuesday afternoon at the Holy Cross Tennis Courts. With the victory, the Terriers conclude the regular season with a 3-15 record and will next prepare for the America East tournament (April 24-26), while the Crusaders fall to 4-13.
BU won every singles and doubles match without losing a single set, as only one Crusader managed to win a total of six games in a contest.
Both senior Charles Weinstein and sophomore Bill Kring dropped the fewest amount of games at three apiece. Weinstein earned a 6-3, 6-0 victory at No. 3, while Kring pulled out a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5.
In doubles, Kring teamed with James Bernstein to complete the doubles sweep at No. 2 with a hard-fought 8-7 (7-5) victory.
The America East championship will be held at Yale University and start Friday, April 24.
