The Boston University men's swimming and diving team (4-2) defeated Stony Brook, 193-98, on Saturday afternoon at Competition Pool. Both relay teams were victorious, while senior Arik Seiler picked up individual wins in the 200 free and 200 IM and diver Tanner Knorr maintained his dominance with wins on the 1M and 3M.
The BU men opened up in similar fashion to the women as it took the top two spots in the 200-medley relay. Justin Gilmartin, Seiler, Matt Rickett and Daniel Kempf were members of the winning relay squad with a time of 1:34.75.
Mark Nakanishi won the Terriers' first individual race of the afternoon as he went the distance in the 1000 free with a winning time of 10:05.75. Seiler maintained the Terriers' momentum with a win in the 200 free (1:42.05) - a season best in dual meets - and towards the end of the meet won the 200 IM in 1:54.67 - also a season best in dual meets.
Bryon Kallert won the 200 fly, clocking in at 1:56.53, while Daniel Kempf sprinted to victory in the 50 free, touching in 21.07, and later won the 100 fly in 51.78. Tyson Slesnick followed up with a win in the 200 breaststroke in 2:09.97 - nearly two seconds faster than his previous dual-meet best. Kyle Ernst won the 500 free with a time of 4:39.86 - a team best in dual meets.
In the diving events, Knorr won the 1M with a score of 323.83, while Joshua Kelsey recorded a career-best score (222.38) to place second in the event. On the 3M, Knorr came in first with a score of 270.80, while Jake Frankenfield placed second with a score of 225.52 and Josh Kelsey again recorded a career-best 211.90 to place third.
The 200 free relay of

Jackson Hill completed the meet with a victory, as it touched in 1:25.17.
