BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Swam for coach Jay Fitzgerald at Pine Crest... Freshman, junior and senior seasons, his team was runner-up and as a sophomore it placed eighth... Four-time sectional qualifier... Captained the team as a junior... As a senior won the regional championship in the 200-free relay, placed third in the 100 fly and finished fourth in the 100 back... At the state championship, highest finish came in the 400 free relay, where the team placed second senior year... As a junior, was a member of the all-american 200 free relay team and placed 10th in the 100 fly at the state championship.

Born on July 28, 1988, on Plantation, Fla... Son of Robert Burgs and Gail Pezzullo-Burgs... Has three siblings, Danielle, Kyle and Drew... Enrolled in the College of Engineering as an engineering major.
