Chin Leads Terriers To Double-Overtime Win Over Great Danes

Albany, N.Y. - America East Player of the Week Sedrick Chin (St. Mary's, Jamaica) scored the game-winning goal in double overtime to lead the Boston University men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over host University at Albany on Varsity Field on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

After playing an entire regulation and an overtime period of scoreless action, Chin took a pass from senior midfielder Andrew Dorman (Flintshire, Wales) and drove the ball past Albany goalkeeper Bouna Coundal at 102:15.

The score was Chin's team-leading sixth goal of the season and fourth goal in the last three games.

Dorman, who ranks third in the nation in assists per game, raised his career assists total to 35, one shy of B.U.'s career assists record.

Sophomore goalkeeper Chad Comroe (Dallas, TX) made five saves to earn his fourth shutout of the season and extended his unbeaten streak to eight games. Comroe improves to 7-1-1 on the season with the victory.

Coundal made three saves for the Great Danes.

The Terriers continue their two-game road trip when they take on the Bearcats of Binghamton University on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 2:00 p.m.
