It will be OK to throw bears on the ice when the Terriers take on the Boston College Eagles on Saturday December 3. Teddy Bears that is! The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting its seventh annual Teddy Bear Toss, to benefit the Special Olympics.

Teddy Bears will be sold at the game for $10 each. All the money raised from the sale will go directly to the Special Olympics. Fans may also bring new stuffed animals to throw onto the ice during the second intermission. All the stuffed animals are then collected and donated to Boston's Children's' Hospital.
