BOSTON - Looking to avenge last month's 6-5 overtime loss to Harvard at Agganis Arena, No. 13 Boston University will face the Crimson in the consolation game of the 61st Beanpot on Monday (Feb. 11) at TD Garden. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.

The Terriers fell to Northeastern, 3-2, in the Beanpot semifinals last week and are playing in the consolation game for just the fourth time in the last 30 years. BU's seniors will be the first BU class since 1965 to graduate without a Beanpot title.

No. 8 Terriers Stunned by Harvard, 6-5, in Overtime
Senior Connor Morrision scored with 47.2 seconds left in overtime to cap a late four-goal run by visiting Harvard as the No. 8 Boston University men's ice hockey team dropped a 6-5 contest on Wednesday evening at Agganis Arena.

The Terriers are just 1-4-1 in their last six games, their worst stretch since going 1-4-2 during the middle of the 2010-11 season.

BU had its scheduled contest against No. 20 Merrimack postponed on Friday due to the historic snow storm that hit the Northeast and has not played since the setback to the Huskies. It was BU's first Beanpot loss to Northeastern in 25 years.

BU is 27-14 (.659) in its 41 meetings with Harvard at the Beanpot, but has lost two of the three consolation meetings with the Crimson. It's the only losing record the Terriers have against an opponent in any round. BU posted a 3-1 victory against Harvard in last year's semifinals.

Harvard snapped an eight-game losing streak on Sunday with a 1-1 home draw against Dartmouth but is 1-13-2 in its last 16 games with the lone victory coming against BU on Jan. 9.

Freshman Jimmy Vesey, who earned a gold medal with the U.S. National Junior Team, leads the Crimson in points (14) and goals (10). Senior Alex Fallstrom (4g, 8a) and sophomore Tommy O'Regan (3g, 9a) have each tallied 12 points.

Junior goaltender Raphael Girard has started all but one of Harvard's games this season and has a .905 save percentage and a 3.25 goals-against average.

Monday's game will pit BU freshman Danny O'Regan against his brother, Tommy. Last month's game marked the first time two ever played against each other and they did not disappoint, each posting three points.

In that game, Connor Morrision scored with 47.2 seconds left in overtime to cap a late four-goal run by visiting Harvard. BU took a 5-2 lead 1:27 into the third on Danny O'Regan's second marker of the evening, but Harvard responded with goals from Marshall Everson (6:38), Luke Greiner (8:34) and Colin Blackwell (16:14) to force overtime.
