Hobey Baker Award winner ... Named to RBK All-America First Team for second consecutive season ... Hockey East First Team All-Star ... Led all Hockey East defensemen in scoring with 37 points on eight goals and 29 assists ... Set up Nick Bonino's game-tying goal to force overtime in the NCAA championship game ... Tallied career highs in points (4) and goals (2) in 6-3 road victory at UMass on Feb. 27, helping BU rally from 3-0 deficit ... Recorded career-high three assists in 7-2 road win over Maine on Feb. 13 ... Named MVP of 2009 Denver Cup ... 2005-06 HIGHLIGHTS

Played in 36 games, including all but one of the last 37. After not playing the first three games, he missed one game on Jan. 6 vs. Providence (healthy scratch) ... Tallied eight points on two goals and six assists ... Held a +21 ranking, which was the best among BU's defensemen and tied for second on the team ... Had the first multiple-point game of his career in the Hockey East semifinal vs. UNH on March 17 with a goal and an assist ... Scored his first career goal on Jan. 21 against Merrimack.

BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY

Played for the Walpole Jr. Stars of the Eastern Junior Hockey League in 2004-05. Led the team and tied for 13th in the league in scoring with 53 points (24-29) in 55 games. Also led the team with seven power-play goals... Graduated in 2003 from St. Mary's High School in Manhasset, N.Y. Was a four-year varsity hockey letter winner and captained the team his junior and senior seasons, winning the New York state championship both years. Named team MVP as a senior as well as the Athlete of the Year at St. Mary's... Also played varsity lacrosse for four years and was all-league selection as a junior and senior and team MVP as a junior.
