Led by second-year head coach Joe Jones, the Boston University men’s basketball team enters the 2012-13 season seeking its third postseason berth in the last four years. The Terriers return three starters, including Preseason All-Conference honoree D.J. Irving who led the league last season in assists at 5.4 apg.
Led by ninth-year head coach Kelly Greenberg, the Boston University women’s basketball team returns 10 letterwinners, including three starters from last year’s 23-9 squad that advanced to the first round of the WNIT. The Terriers will host a combined six non-conference opponents in November and December.
Led by senior captain Wade Megan, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team will play 18 contests at home this season, starting off with an exhibition game against the University of Toronto on Sunday, Oct. 7. Click here to purchase season tickets.
This past summer, Boston University formally accepted an invitation to move 20 of its 25 teams to the Patriot League on July 1, 2013 for the 2013-14 season. Formed as an all-sport conference in 1990-91, the league features American, Army, Bucknell, Colgate, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh and Navy .

AS A JUNIOR IN 2010-11 Played in 18 games and set career highs in both goals (3) and assists (3) to finish the year with six points ... Did not commit a penalty all season ... Scored a goal in the Terriers' 5-4 victory over No. 17 Notre Dame in the title game of the Ice Breaker Tournament.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009-10 Played in 25 games, including 16 in Hockey East play ... Scored three points - all in conference games - on a goal and two assists ... Scored game-winning goal with 6:28 left in regulation to lift Terriers to 4-3 victory at Northeastern in regular-season finale and help BU claim the No. 3 seed for Hockey East tournament ... Assisted on Corey Trivino's goal at Merrimack on Nov. 13 ... Assisted on Ross Gaudet's goal against Vermont on Dec. 4.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008-09 Appeared in 12 contests ... Scored first career goal in 7-2 win over Michigan on Oct. 25 ... Added another goal in 6-2 victory against RPI in Denver Cup on Jan. 2.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY Led Brewster Academy (N.H.) in scoring in 2005-06 before moving to the EJHL, where he played for the Foxboro Stars (2006-07) and South Shore Kings (2007-08) over the past two seasons ... Led the Kings with 32 goals, good for second in the league ... Second on the team in scoring with 58 points, which ranked fourth in the league ... Netted a hat trick in the EJHL semifinals ... Played hockey, lacrosse and soccer at Brewster, leading all three teams to region titles as a senior and helping soccer and lacrosse capture New England titles as a junior and as a sophomore.
