Men's Crew's Klotzbach Makes U.S. Under-23 National Team

BOSTONBoston University senior Chris Klotzbach earned a spot on the Under-23 National Team in the lightweight men’s quadruple sculls and will represent the United States at the World Championships in Strathclyde, England from July 26-29.

Klotzbach, rowing with Florida Institute of Technology’s Chris Lambert and GMS Rowing’s Matt Carey and Richard Klein, qualified for the team in the lightweight men’s 4x yesterday at the 2007 Under-23 National Team Time Trials on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. The boat qualified in a time of 6:05.34. The final roster will be released by Monday, July 16.

His crew was one of ten to qualify to represent the U.S. at the championships.
