BOSTON - Looking to retain possession of the Arlett Cup, the No. 12 Boston University men's crew will open the spring dual season against No. 10 Northeastern on the Charles River Saturday morning with action set to begin at 8 a.m.

The Terriers and Huskies have battled for the Arlett Cup since 1978 with Northeastern having won nine of the last 11 races. In 2011, BU snapped the Huskies' three-race win streak with a convincing 7.6 second victory en route to a program record-breaking season that included five cup victories. NU last dropped consecutive Arlett Cup races in 1986-87.

After facing the Huskies, BU will next visit Dartmouth on Saturday, April 14.
