BOSTON - After signing three players to early national letters of intent back in November, the Boston University men's basketball team has added one more recruit to the Class of 2016, head coach Joe Jones announced Thursday.

A 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Archbishop Carroll in Washington D.C., Alston will join forward Nathaniel Dieudonne and guards Maurice Watson and John Papale. He averaged 11.4 points per game last season and became a consistent double-double machine, highlighted by a 19-point, 10-board performance in his final regular season game.

Serving as senior team captain, he was invited to the Capital Classics All-Star Game and was a Maryland All-League Honorable Mention selection.

"Justin is exactly the type of student-athlete that we strive to recruit to Boston University," said Jones. "He is an intelligent, hardworking, and passionate young man. He comes from a great family and we're extremely excited for him to join an already stellar recruiting class."
