BOSTON—Orlando Vandross, an assistant for the Boston University men’s basketball program for the last 10 years, has been promoted to associate head coach by head coach Dennis Wolff, it was announced today. His responsibilities include coordination of recruiting, practice and game-planning, on-floor coaching, scheduling, compliance, advising and counseling. During Vandross’ tenure with the Terriers, he has helped guide them to three straight America East conference titles (2002-04), and four consecutive post-season appearances (2002-05) for the first time in school history. “Orlando has been an unbelievable asset to our program for 10 years,” said Wolff. “I am pleased to be able to continue working with him.”
