After recording a double-double against Vermont and helping the Boston University men's basketball team extend its win streak to a season-high four games, junior Dom Morris has been named the GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
The forward was key in helping BU maintain its top position as the conference's No. 1 scoring offense while out-rebounding two opponents by a combined 16 rebounds, the most recorded in a two-game span all season long. He first recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds in the 64-59 win at Vermont and followed with 13 points and eight rebounds during Sunday's 68-56 victory over New Hampshire.
Morris' performance in Burlington marked his sixth-career double-double and his second of the season against the Catamounts. He currently ranks second in the America East in field goal shooting percentage (.557), 10th in rebounding (6.4 rpg) and 12th in scoring (11.6 ppg).
