Leo Paré has worked in the Boston University Department of Athletics since August 2005, and joined the Marketing Communications unit in September 2006 as the senior staff assistant for marketing and promotions.

In this role, Paré is responsible for developing and executing the marketing plans for men's soccer, women's soccer, field hockey and women's ice hockey. He also assists with the management of content and design for the official website of BU Athletics, GoTerriers.com, and oversees the logistics for all audio and video streaming. In addition, Paré manages the student rewards and kids club programs as well as the community outreach and donation requests for the Department of Athletics, and supervises student workers and interns.

Previously, he worked at BU as an athletic operations assistant, running varsity athletic events and the day-to-day operations of the Case Athletic Center, Walter Brown Arena and Nickerson Field. A former BU Athletics marketing intern, he also has previously completed internships with the Boston Bruins and the Lowell Devils (previously the Lowell Lock Monsters) of the AHL.

Paré graduated from Endicott College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in sport management and a minor in computer science. There he served as the Executive President of the Student Body during his senior year and the Executive Treasurer as a junior. Paré also played football in 2002 and 2003 for the Gulls.

A native of Dracut, Mass., he currently resides in Quincy and is pursuing his Master of Science in advertising from BU's College of Communication.
