Steve Gahl Position: Operations Assistant

Steve Gahl was named operations assistant in the Boston University Department of Athletics in October 2008. In this position, he manages all tasks related to events, camps and academic classes at the Case Athletic Center and Nickerson Field, and supervises work-study students at those facilities during the academic year.

No stranger to the school, Gahl earned a bachelor's degree in January 2007 from BU's College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in human geography with a minor in international relations. He played four years on the men's soccer team.

After graduation, Gahl worked for one year at Hotel Commonwealth in Kenmore Square.

A native of Kensington, Md., Gahl resides in Brookline, Mass.
