Doug Brown returns for his 17th season calling radio play-by-play for Boston University Men's Basketball. He also called TV play-by-play for Boston University basketball, hockey and football from 1995 to 1999.

Brown can be heard nationally as the host of "SportsCenter Nightly" on the ESPN Radio Network. Before launching the show in July, 2008, Doug had been at ESPN since 1993 in a variety of roles -- NBA and college basketball play-by-play; reporting and hosting shows from the Olympics, the World Series, and the Final Four; hosting many of the network's signature programs and anchoring SportsCenter updates.

Spanning his 30-year career in broadcasting, Brown is a five-time New England Emmy nominee, and a nine-time winner in various categories from the Associated Press and United Press International. Among Doug's other professional honors, he received a national Telly award for producing, writing, and narrating a Jack Parker Tribute Video, which premiered at the dedication gala for Agganis Arena's Jack Parker Rink.

Doug is a 1978 graduate of the Boston University College of Communication and lives in Connecticut with his wife, Jennifer.
