The Boston University Department of Athletics hosted a private donor reception, prior to the men’s ice hockey game against Boston College on Saturday, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Miracle on Ice and honor the four BU alumni who led the 1980 Olympic team to gold – Jim Craig, Mike Eruzione, Jack O’Callahan and Dave Silk.

The Olympians were welcomed with a standing ovation following a special on-ice presentation during the first intermission, at which time Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Lynch spoke about the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid, New York as one of the most memorable of many proud moments in BU history.
