Senior goaltender Allyse Wilcox was named the most valuable player of the 2008-09 Boston University women's ice hockey team. The Terriers' primary netminder since the team's inception four years ago, Wilcox capped her career by going 12-8-4 with a 2.26 goals-against average and .910 save percentage in her senior campaign. The Grand Blanc, Mich., native recorded two shutouts this year, blanking Princeton on Nov. 14 and Northeastern on Feb. 21. Wilcox was named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Month on October and November and was chosen to participate in the NCAA Frozen Four Skills Challenge.
