BOSTON - A total of 96 Boston University student-athletes have been named to the 2001-02 America East Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll after earning grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher. A total of 33 of those were further recognized by being named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, acknowledging grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher.

Additionally, the men's swimming and diving and the men's tennis teams led the conference in student-athletes named to the Academic Honor Roll in their respective sports. Thirteen members of the men's swimming and diving team were named, while eight men's tennis players earned the honor.
