June 23, 2009

Senior back Lizzie Perreault was named the most valuable player of the 2008 Boston University field hockey team. A three-year starter, Perreault capped her final season by earning a spot on the America East All-Conference First Team as well as the NFHCA Northeast All-Region Second team. Perreault played more minutes than any other Terrier in 2008 and added a team-high three defensive saves. The tri-captain helped to anchor a BU defense that allowed just 31 goals in 20 games.
