BOSTON - On February 28, Boston University will celebrate the generosity of its donor community by offering all of the University's donors two free tickets to Donor Appreciation Night, as the BU men's basketball team takes on the Stony Brook Seawolves in its last game as a member of the America East conference.
BU enjoyed a record level of donor support last year, with more than 30,000 individuals giving to the University. In the wake of the public launch of The Campaign for Boston University in September, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends are on pace to rewrite the record book again this year.
The game--the men's basketball team's last of the regular season--begins at 7 p.m. at Agganis Arena. Donors will be treated to a special reserved section and in-game recognition, and can purchase additional tickets at the discounted rate of $4. The first 500 fans in attendance will also receive a free replica Terrier basketball jersey.
