Feb. 12, 2015 David Hemery Valentine Invitational Schedule

With a number of athletic events on campus this weekend (Feb. 13-14), fans are advised that there will be heavy traffic around the Babcock Street Garage and to be prepared to seek alternate parking options.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for any events this weekend. If the Babcock Street Garage becomes full, fans are encouraged to use the Agganis Arena parking garage (map). The entrance to the garage is located behind the arena and is accessible from either side on Agganis Way and Buick Street. In addition, the lot at 808 Commonwealth Avenue (map) will be open for anyone attending any events this weekend.

The men's and women's track & field teams are hosting their annual David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday and Saturday, which brings numerous entrants from across the country to the Track and Tennis Center. The event is part of the program's Alumni Weekend as BU inducts the first class of the BU Track and Field Wall of Honor. Friday's events are set to begin at 1:30 p.m. while Saturday's schedule is slated to start at 10:15 a.m.

Also on Friday, the men's hockey team will skate against New Hampshire at Agganis Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.

In addition to track & field on Saturday, the men's lacrosse team will welcome Canisius to Nickerson Field at 12 p.m. Agganis Arena will play host to men's basketball that afternoon at 1 p.m. when the Terriers take on Loyola Maryland.
