Former Boston University men's basketball student-athlete Alexi Giannoulias (CGS '98) won the Democratic Primary Tuesday night in his home state of Illinois and will try to win President Obama's vacated seat on Nov. 2. The current state treasurer played for two seasons with the Terriers, including the magical 1997 NCAA tournament run. more |

Boston University's graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach Mike Tremble has accepted the strength and fitness coaching position with the Major League Soccer's Columbus Crew, the team announced Friday. Tremble was responsible for designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for BU's women's golf and men's and women's swimming and diving programs, in addition to men's soccer. more |
